(More) Blogging the Revolution

Since things seem to be heating up, I thought I'd go looking for some more Ukranian blogs to bring us news of how things are going. One English-language blog, Le Sabot Post-Moderne, passes along some relatively current information about developments in Kyiv. Among other posts, the author, Discoshaman, gives us this abridged version of how the election was stolen.

Neeka's Backlog (noted by Alex yesterday) gives some of the election's (fraudulent, per the OSCE) raw numbers here. Today's post tells us that the Crimean city of Bahcisaray may have recognized Yushchenko, significant in that the rest of the province seems to have gone for Yanukovych.

Notes from Kiev conveys some good atmospherics, noting wryly that the musicians performing at the opposition rally may never appear on Russian television again.

Obdymok tells us about some of the misinformation (disinformation?) that is flying around Kyiv:

The rumors have been shocking. One had Russian special forces hiding in the Presidential Administration premises on Bankova in Kyiv, with orders to start shooting if more than 50 opposition protestors breach the police cordon. Another had Russian troops congregating downtown, wearing Ukrainian uniforms. A third had planes full of Russian troops flying into local airports, ready to crush the opposition here in what political scientists call Russia’s “sphere of influence.”
